NFL Postseason History

After searching high and low on the internet, we could not find any website that listed the entire postseason history of each NFL team individually. So, we here at NEARsports.com decided to put such an archive together ourselves.

Below you will find the postseason history of every NFL team since the very first postseason game was played in 1932. Only one of the 32 NFL teams, the Houston Texans, has not yet made an appearance in the postseason.

Several of the teams have changed cities and/or names during their existence. In all but one of these instances, the team's postseason records follow the teams to their new location. The only exception is that of the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens. When the original Browns left Cleveland and became the Baltimore Ravens, the city of Cleveland retained all team records to be given to the "new" Cleveland Browns upon their inception. This exception was officially granted by the NFL.

In 1970, the NFL and AFL merged. The NFL officially absorbed all of the records accumulated during the existence of the AFL (1960-69). * Denotes teams that have never been to the Super Bowl. Years denote last postseason appearance.
